I love the Family of a Soldier poem and decided to use it for a school project. The only problem is that I need biographical info on you and I can't find any...

Hey Sharon!!
I love the poem "The Family of a Soldier". It amde me realize how blessed I am to have all my friends and family still alive (the ones in the war, I mean.) I also love your site!!! But may I make a suggestion? A little about yourself and why you started writing poetry would be really interesting. Thanks again, Alyssa |

I just read "Joy in the Sojourn" on Spirit Is Up . . . and it's beautiful. Very, very beautiful. The entire presentation of your poem, on there, is beautiful and uplifting. Thank you for sharing it.
Bright Blessings! Faerie |

I was googling my grandfather's name in preparation to write his eulogy. I was astonished to find a poem about him on your website. His name was Ocus Murphy from Enid, Oklahoma (on Twilight). He was the light of our lives and passed on March 2, 2007. We read your poem at his funeral. Thank you for honoring him in this way. Sara Murphy

Thanks for such a wonderful site! I am planning a "Celebrating Heroes" Poetry/song event. Would like permission to use some of your poems. CHildren will be memorizing poems to recite in front of others. Many thanks!
