Come and Sing a Christmas Song

I hear the carols at Christmas
Great songs from days of old-
Sung for years, the words endure,
And warm us in the cold.

Sacred words of ageless tunes
That find their place to dwell,
On silent nights and holy nights
We sing Emmanuel.

Joyous notes still stir our soul
And spark within a flame,
Sweet birthday songs for our King,
And Jesus is his name…

So come and sing a Christmas song
And close your eyes to see,
Sparkling notes that float like stars
Upon the Christmas tree...
