Don’t Wake Me
Don’t wake me as I
dream
I like the realm I’m
in
I fly to summers long
ago
And places that I’ve
been.
Don’t wake me as I
dream
I’m in another sphere
And living in another
land
So far away from here.
Don’t wake me as I
dream
Just let me stay a
while
I love the gentle
wisps of wind
That tickle me to
smile-
Don’t wake me as I die
For now I go to dream
In that quiet yonder
place
With scattered stars
between
