Easier Said Than Done

I hear their vague concern
And see their prying eyes
"How are you today?"
And then I feed them lies…

"Oh I am doing fine…"
As I kick dust off my feet-
But it's easier said than done-
And I feel I'm such a cheat…

My friends have given books,
Of how to survive hurts and blows,
But it's easier said than done-
Time will heal …I suppose…
