I wish I would have known
That Time would move so fast,
I'd have laughed a little more
Before so much had passed…

I wish I would have known
That deep within your soul,
There lives a piece of Heaven
That makes the spirit whole…

I wish I would have known
To let my dreams fly free
And not bury all the sparks
That burned inside of me…

I wish I would have known
That the light before the dawn
Is brightened by a prayer
With Light that lingers on…

I wish I would have known
These truths a bit before
But perhaps it's not too late-
To learn a little more…
