Land of Exile
there are no words
left for me to say
they hide in cowardice
while you walk away
they wanted to shout
tried to blurt themselves out
but for now
they just stowaway
there are no songs
left for me to sing
no melody within
my heart to bring
they wanted to linger
on the lips of a singer
but for now
they just bring a sting
there are no smiles
left for me to smile
they died in truth
after a long while
they wanted to glow
but died blow by blow
til languished
to a land of exile
