The Wool Gatherer

I’ve gathered up my yarn

To spin a little dream

I’ll weave in chance and charm

And everything between.

I’ll catch a falling star

And add its shining light,

Add a pinch of moonbeam-

Until I think its right.

I’ve gathered up my yarn,

I’ll weave a talisman

To wear above your heart

And hold within your hand.

I’ll spin in hope and faith

Inside, I’ll add a prayer,

That everywhere you go

You’ll know my love is there.

I’ve gathered up my wool

I’ll spin a rhyme in place,

And from my spinning spool

Comes love for all your days…
